Description
Contemporary design villa with a private saltwater pool and sea-view terraces overlooking the gulf of Castellammare del Golfo, one of the most beautiful seaside destinations of Sicily. Designed with architectural details to bring out light and shadow, Villa Bizzarria is a geometric jewel where the soft color of the building is chosen to highlight the blue color of the pool as well as the greenery of Mont Inici right behind it.
After a day spent falling in love with Sicily, you'll find that at night Villa Bizzarria is perfectly lit and that the pool, skilfully built to hold the water temperature, will make your midnight swim extremely pleasurable.
Villa Bizzarria consists of two apartment floors connected together by an external staircase. Each floor has its own equipped kitchen, a living with access to panoramic outdoor spaces and three bedrooms. All rooms have air-conditioning and mosquito nets. You will also find a modern outdoor kitchen, complete with fridge and barbecue.
The penthouse of the building, entirely independent, is reserved by the owners, who make use of it occassionaly in high season & often in August. They are highly respectful of your privacy and will not use the pool or overlook the pool during your stay. Their apartment has a separate entrance and parking.
In terms of location, the villa could not be better situated: less than 3 km from a sandy beach and one of Sicily's most picturesque villages and surrounded by many must-see sights. To name but a few, the port of Scopello, the paradisiacal beach of the Zingaro Nature Reserve, of San Vito Lo Capo and of Mondello, the Temple of Segesta, the salt pans of Marsala and, of course, Palermo, the splendid capital city, are all a short drive away.
Thanks to the presence of central heating and to the proximity to the stunning village of Castellammare del Golfo which is lively all year round, the villa is ideal for a winter holiday as much as for a summer one. All in all, Villa Bizzarria is a luxe gateway to a soothing family holiday in Sicily!
Swimming Pool
The private saltwater pool is for the exclusive use of guests, who may use it from the beginning of April until the end of October.
The pool is made of concrete and is 10 m long by 5.5 m large and ranges from 1.40 m to 2.30 m deep.
A pool attendant will do regular maintenance, generally in the late afternoon.

Policies
The price includes one set of bed linen and bath towels for each guest. Bath towels cannot be used for the beach or the pool. Pool towels can be rented upon advance request.
Visitors not included in the reservation are not allowed. Exceptions for short visits can be made upon advance request and with the host's permission.
It is possible to organise dinners in the villa exclusively through the villa's private chef.
In order to avoid extra costs, please dispose of your garbage according to the municipality rules. Do not leave garbage and unwashed dishes at your check-out.

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in dieser Villa. Es war ausreichend Platz für alle. Eine tolle Außenanlage mit ausreichend großem Pool. Alles sehr gepflegt und modern. Wir haben uns wirklich wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank ????
Highly recommend the accommodation. Everything lived up to what was promised. It's great to have an outdoor kitchen. It was good that there was a refrigerator both inside and out. Good furniture and lighting that made the evenings outdoors magical.
In addition, the host Mirko was incredibly helpful with everything. Responded quickly to questions both before and during the stay. Provided great tips for excursions and restaurants.
I recommend everyone to rent a car at the airport for various excursions, when shopping, and more. Walking distance to town but hilly. We walked most of the time but took a taxi back after a restaurant visit on one occasion.
If I were to find something slightly negative, it felt unnecessary to be charged for pool towels when the accommodation is so expensive. In summary, a great week and a great place to stay!!!
My family party of 8 (all adults) had a wonderful week at the villa. The villa has a peaceful vibe and has amazing mountain views. All the administrative process was smooth and easy and Mirko and family were always available for guidance on the villa and amenities in the local community. Each couple in my family had an on-suite bedroom and the villa is large enough to provide personal space and a range of sharing family areas where we all spent much quality time together. The outdoor BBQ area and sitting by the salt water swimming pool were really special. The villa is walking distance to a range of shops and restaurants. Every meal we had was so good!! We hired two small cars which we used to visit local attractions like the nature reserve park, and the historical temple etc. The villa is an easy drive of 30 minutes or so from the airport. The villa was everything we wanted and I would recommend it.
HIGHLY recommend to anyone visiting Castellmmare or western Sicily. My family of 11 had the best time in this house. Absolutely stunning resort like home with more than enough room for everyone. It was super clean with gorgeous views and a spectacular pool. It was like having 2 houses in one with both floors, I can't say enough good things!! We didn't want to leave, it's just so beautiful! Mirko and his parents are the nicest people ever, they made us feel so welcome and really took care of us! We had a slight issue and they went above and beyond to make everything work out perfectly! The house is also in a great location; the town is only an 8 minute drive, close supermarkets, beaches, and all the best food options right down the hill! For us it was very convienent to do day trips around Sicily. San Vito Lo Capo is less than an hour away! This may have been one of my favorite Airbnb experiences and if you're traveling with a large group don't miss the opportunity to stay here!! Grazie
A really nice villa with great amenities, great views and Very nice hosts. Great steak restaurant 5 mins walk and lots of good restaurants in the town. Easy walk into town. We got a taxi back to the villa most nights which was cheap and worked well when booked with a bit of notice. Very smart place overall and would recommend.
This villa was AMAZING! We had a group of 12 ranging from 2 years old to 80 years old. The space was perfect! Everything was so comfortable, clean and well thought out. The pool was perfect. There are 3 rooms downstairs each with their own bathroom. One bedroom upstairs has its own bathroom, two bedrooms have a bathroom between them and a bathroom in the main area. I recommend having a car so you can explore the area.
Vi har har hatt et fantastisk opphold i villaen. Stedet svarte så absolutt til forventningene. Stort fint hus, flott innredet, komfortabelt og med alle nødvendige fasiliteter. Fint og stort uteområde med både utekjøkken og stort basseng, nydelig utsikt fra terrassen i 2. etasje. Rolig, privat og fint område. Verten, både foreldrene til Mirko og Mirko har vært svært imøtekommende og hjelpsomme og svarte raskt på spørsmål. Takk til Mirko og foreldrene hans for at de gjorde uken våres uforglemmelig. Anbefaler dette stedet på det sterkeste.
Excellent stay! Brand new house, very well equipped, with a spectacular view. Very close to shops (supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, etc.) and also just a short drive from the Marina, the beach, and the historic center. Special mention to Mirko, who was extremely attentive and friendly. We loved it and will definitely come back.
Amazing stay with family and small children. The host is very accommodating and helped us with recommendations and bookings. The property is even more stunning than the photos, great new renovation and super clean. The views of the ocean/mountains are amazing and we walked into town every day. Highly recommend!
We (eight adults and three kids) had a wonderful time at the villa. Mirko is very kind and helpful, we were welcomed by his parents who made us feel instantly at home, and Catharina the breakfast chef (who Mirko organised for us) was a wonderful cook and a lovely person. The kids had a blast in the pool, and we really loved the outdoor kitchen . Highly recommend this place and hope to come back!
This place was exactly like the pictures. It’s gorgeous and the pool and surrounding areas are beautiful. The rooms are clean are modern and it feels like a five star resort. Marko was very responsive and helpful in terms of planning - I will call out that they don’t allow outside chefs or visitors which wasn’t in the listing and caused some stress for us. Additionally, although Castellammare del Golfo is a very cute town with lots of restaurants - it is difficult to walk there and back from the villa due to the large hill and it was much harder and more expensive than expected to get back and forth from the city centre and to the beach. Overall we had an amazing experience at the villa and would highly recommend. Thank you so much!!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this house in Castellammare del Golfo! The home was incredibly clean, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our group of 7 adults, 3 kids, and an infant. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation. A special mention goes to Mirko, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. He was amazing from start to finish, helping us book all our reservations and securing spots at some fantastic beach clubs. His local knowledge was invaluable, and his recommendations for other cities and attractions to visit were spot on. We got to explore so much more of the region thanks to his insights. We really enjoyed our stay. Mirko was a great host. He helped us with everything. Nice house. It was like having two separate apartments. Mirko and the family were very welcoming, warm and loving people. It was very easy access to them because they were there on the third floor. Although the location and the view were amazing, we had a hard time getting around town because of a lack of transportation. I highly recommend renting a car. If you want a serene vacation with a spectacular view in a beautiful place, with lovely hosts; this vacation home is for you .

Dario and his family’s villa was the ultimate vacation destination. The villa was even better than the photos and plenty of room for the three families present. The villa was also very family friendly and our two children had a great time. The outdoor bbq was great for cooking family dinners and the pool and outdoor showers were very clean and convenient. Many grocery stores and restaurants close by and the main town is a short drive or walk away. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful place.

This is a beautiful villa!! We were 11 people and the accommodation were outstanding!!! The place was extremely clean and well maintained. The owner were amazing. This property was located in a prime spot for your everyday excursions. Close to San vito di capo, scopello etc.. I would STRONGLY recommend the property to family and friends!!!! GREAT PLACE!!!

We were 4 families that stayed at this location July 2023. It is beyond beautiful, extremely clean and organized. Dario and his family were great hosts, always responsive to our needs, they were friendly and welcoming. We were provided with everything we needed. Linens were spotless, towels were provided and washed. I will recommend this place to my friends and family travelling to Castellemare Del Golfo. This place it gorgeous, private, safe. I will definitely return!

Everything matched our expectations and beyond…the outdoor kitchen was just added and was a great surprise for us especially because we love cooking and experiencing local food. Book this now!!!!! This place was incredible, it went beyond all of expectations! The design, accommodations and amenities could not have been better!!!! We were a group of ten with some children, this place met all of our needs and then some!!!! The owners Dario, Carlo and Giovanna were so warm and friendly. They are now our La familia!!!!! The location is perfect, castellamare del golfo is beautiful! Easy access to markets, cafes, grocery stores, bakery, pharmacies and a great base to go exploring beaches, the reserva, and other local attractions. Do yourself a favor book this Gem!!!!!! Worth every penny!!!
