We had a wonderful Time at this Place. Francesco the owner of the building is such a help with every problem we faced during our trip. The view is incredible! We used the kitchen daily. Everything was clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. I would recommend booking a parking space right when you arrive. We got a ticket the first night we stayed on the right street in front of the house.

Awesome deck!! It makes the place. . Encountered some AC problems that Franco worked hard to fix. Franco was kind and responsive. Swimming is possible (I swam every day) but access to water is not for faint of heart. There is some road noise if windows are open. Walking into town is possible but one must be careful of traffic and narrow streets. Great nearby town for restaurants and seashore town viewing.

Es un segundo piso con una buena ubicación para visitar toda la costa de Catania. Franco, el anfitrión, vive en el primero y es una persona muy amable y atenta. El piso es amplio, temperatura agradable y camas muy cómodas. El balcón y las vistas lo mejor. Tiene una zona para aparcar muy necesaria. En definitiva buena opción para visitar Sicilia. Muy recomendable

Notre séjour pendant les vacances de Noël a été en tout point parfait. La vue est exceptionnelle et le logement très confortable, conforme aux photos. Notre hôte Marco a été adorable et nous a été, tout au long du séjour, d'une précieuse aide pour tous ses conseils, sa bienveillance et sa gentillesse. Le logement est parfaitement, idéalement situé pour la visite de très beaux villages aux alentours incontournables mais aussi l'ETNA avec un guide qu'il ne faut pas louper ! Hâte de pouvoir revenir en Sicile ????

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war super sauber und voll ausgestattet. Für uns war das schönste an der Wohnung natürlich die atemberaubende Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Ausblick aufs Meer und das tolle Bad, was eine ganz besondere Atmosphäre geschaffen hat. Ein kleiner Supermarkt und die Innenstadt mit einigen tollen Restaurants sind sehr gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das einzige Probleme ist das Parken. In der Straße vor dem Haus ist eigentlich Parkverbot. Es stehen aber trotzdem überall Autos, dementsprechend haben wir dort auch geparkt aber leider einen Strafzettel am letzten erhalten.

C’est M. Franco qui nous a accueilli chaleureusement! Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis à la maison, malgré le fait que la salle de bain et la terrasse donnaient davantage des allures de palace! Les photos sont représentatives et même que le mobilier du salon a été amélioré depuis (de même que les lits changés pour un lit double dans l’une des chambres, ce qui était parfait pour nous– deux couples). L’appartement était très propre, climatisé et sécuritaire. Accès à la mer incroyable : apportez chaussures d’eau pour l’entrée à l’eau avec roches volcaniques! Lunettes de plongée sont aussi indiquées! Aci Castello se visite bien à pieds avec le palais Normand et quelques restaurants disponibles à proximité. Facile aussi d’accéder en voiture aux vignobles de l’Etna et à l’Etna même (~50 minutes). Nous avons adoré et recommandons à tous!

appartement dans résidence de deux étages avec une vue mer à 180 ° : époustouflante ! superbe terrasse ; se situe à 20 minutes du centre de Catane; l'intérieur est meublé correctement, la salle de bain est immense avec douche et baignoire: le peu de débit d'eau nous a obligé à démonter et nettoyer le pommeau de douche ); la climatisation des chambres est silencieuse mais elles donnent sur la rue qui est très passagère et très bruyante même la nuit. Le tri des déchets est assez strict en Sicile il faut en tenir compte. Il faut noter un plus, la flexibilité des heures d'arrivée: grande souplesse et facilité d'accès. De plus grande réactivité de la personne responsable du logement : nous avons eu un problème avec la Wi-Fi le dimanche et dans la journée le boîtier a été changé . En résumé très bon séjour

Franco is one of the best hosts I have ever had. Very responsive and couldn’t do enough for you. Even came with me to the supermarket when we arrived so I could find it easily. The location of the apartment is amazing. Very close to the town centre with lots of restaurants and bars and with a lovely terrace looking out to sea. Parking is a pain as it is in a garage up the road and is very tight. The furniture in the place is a bit dated and you have to keep your clothes in the hallway as the wardrobe doesn’t open in one room and has a mattress in it in the other. Some of the appliances etc weren’t great - the dishwasher isn’t fixed in properly so easy to pull out. Overall a great place to stay but some basic things could do with being sorted.

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse war einfach einzigartig, perfekt war sie auch zum Sonnenbaden. Das stetige Meeresrauschen ist wahnsinnig schön. Der Wohnungsinhaber war sehr freundlich, immer erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit (Tipps für die Umgebung, Empfehlungen guter Restaurants, Organisation eines privaten Transfers, …) Nach Catania gibt es einen Bus, wir fanden es jedoch einfacher, mit Uber bzw. dem Transfer zu fahren, da die Entfernung schon relativ weit ist. Die Balkonmöbel + Spülmaschine könnten mal erneuert werden, insgesamt würden wir aber auf jeden Fall nochmal diese schöne Unterkunft buchen!

This apartment is the perfect place to stay. We felt right at home, and were very comfortable from the minute we walked in. The view is breathtaking as it looks out over the sea. My family thoroughly enjoyed spending our mornings drinking coffee staring down the coast line and watching the waves come in and crash on the rocks. It was therapeutic and a great way to start the day. The location is great as you are just outside of Catania city but within walking distance to beautiful shops and restaurants and getting into the city centre is not too hard. The layout of the apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful vacation at Terrazzo Reale. The view from the balcony is amazing. Easy walk into town with great restaurants. Franco is incredibly nice and showed us around town. Convenient to Catania and Mount Etna. I can't wait to go back!!

A beautiful apartment on the sea. Very clean with comfortable furniture. The terrace was magical from watching the sunrise, the fishing boats, relaxing, reading in the sunshine to watching the stars at night. The village, a short walk away has plenty of good restaurants to choose from or to just relax with a cocktail. A perfect base to go off to explore Taormina, Etna, Ortigia & Villa Romana di Casale!! The wonderful owner Franco leaves you very clear instructions on places to visit, restaurants in the area, information on the apartment & recycling all very helpful. We had a Jeep rental, which we kept outside of the apartment parking, (a smaller car was suggested) a bit of a squeeze but no problem at all. Franco is a great host! We would highly recommend.

Superb apartment. Very clean and tidy with a traditional Italian theme internally The apartment is in a great location. The local supermarket is 400 yards away and there’s a great selection of cafes and restaurants in the harbour which is only a 5 minutes walking distance away. Giulia is a very welcoming and hospitable host who provided lots of help and advice. Our flight landed at midday and although we knew the check in time was mid afternoon the apartment was made available on our arrival Views from the Balcony are exceptional and the terrace is well equipped with a good selection of sun lounges, table and chill out seating area. Love the area and will definitely return.

Loved this apartment. The owner and host was incredibly helpful and kind. We loved the terrace, the antique decor and the shower. We found the beds super comfortable. We would definitely recommend. We chose not to hire a car however we would recommend if you are wanting to explore regularly beyond the local village.

Nous avons réservé le logement une semaine pour 4 personnes (2 adultes et 2 enfants) début juillet ; Exceptionnel : - La vue sur mer de la terrasse, - La pièce de vie spacieuse et bien équipée - La salle de bain façon hammam avec douche et baignoire avec remous - L'accès directe à la mer - La proximité des commerces typiques Sicilien Gulia pour la partie administrative a été très agréable avec une multitude de renseignements pratiques pour le séjour. Franco, pour la gestion du séjour sur place a été aux petits soins pour nous.

Hét 'unique selling point' van deze plek is het terras! De inrichting van de woning is dringend aan wat modernisering toe, net als het terrasmeubilair, maar de locatie is helemaal top. Heerlijk snorkelen voor de deur en plekken als Taormia, de Etna en Catania binnen beperkte afstand. Franco Puglisi is en bijzonder vriendelijke en behulpzame host!

Absolutely stunning rental. We had a marvelous first time in Sicily. The apartment has two king size beds ( one can be made into two singles ) great bathroom, plenty of hot water and all the amenities needed. The views off the balcony are breathtaking. You will not meet a nicer gentleman than the owner ( who lives below the apartment ) Francesco. We arrived very late at night because of issues at the airport. He did not have any problem waiting up for us. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He went above and beyond, even bringing our jackets that we had left in the apartment to the airport for us. You will not be disappointed in this rental. We hope to return soon.

Breathtaking views from the balcony. You can get lost in the sounds of the sea. Convenient location for day trips. The host is very friendly and helpful. He makes the guest really comfortable. Some furniture updates would be good both indoor and outdoor. Very well stocked in amenities.

Die Terrasse ist wirklich einmalig! Ein Traum! Die Möbel in der Wohnung sind teilweise echte Antiquitäten, aber auch entsprechend wackelig und schief. Aber die Matratzen sind top, wir haben gut geschlafen. Die Wohnung liegt (von einer Mauer bzw. Garten abgetrennt) an einer vielbefahrenen Straße mit Baustelle. Entsprechend viel Lärm bereits ab frühem Morgen, vor allem im vorderen Schlafzimmer. Das zweite Schlafzimmer ist etwas von der Straße abgewandt, und da übertönt das Meeresrauschen den Straßenlärm. Der Ansprechpartner vor Ort war sehr nett und extrem hilfsbereit. Danke auch für die Flasche mit sizilianischem Rotwein, die uns bei Ankunft erwartet hat. Sehr köstlich! Insgesamt haben wir uns dort wohlgefühlt. Leider war das Wetters nicht schön, so dass wir nur wenig die wunderbare Terrasse nutzen konnten.

Die Aussicht ist wirklich superschön und die Terrasse wirklich perfekt. Leider war es nicht wirklich sehr sauber und alles bisschen ungepflegt (Kaffeekannen waren nicht mehr verwendbar, Töpfe und Geschirr waren schmutzig, Tisch verschmutzt, ...) . Die Möbel sind teilweise sehr alt und man darf auch die viele Kästen nicht verwenden, da sie verschlossen sind. Leider hatten wir auch unter uns eine junge Gruppe (wir sind selbst nicht so alt), die aber jeden Tag Party und Musik bis in der Früh über mega Boxen gespielt haben. Es war ok, aber es gibt wirklich noch sehr viel Luft nach oben, da das Apartment wirklich super wäre.

For those looking at this place and thinking of working there remotely, do it! The wifi supported me & my 2 friends through 10 days of remote office. Mr. Puglisi is the sweetest host I've ever had :) The house, THE VIEW, our own private "beach" and canoe all made our stay unforgettable. We will for sure be back!

Excellent apartment with stunning terrace with panoramic view on the sea.
The flat is beautiful, well furnished and provides all the needed amenities and a direct access to the beach.
The host is very kind and keen to help and advise to make your stay great.
Supermarkets and restaurants are at short walk distances and top Sicilian eastern coast touristic locations are within 1 hour drive. Really Recommended!

This place has an amazing terrace and is perfect for a holiday. The host is phenomenal in helping when asked but keeping the apartment a place of privacy. We loved the fireplace and used it almost every evening. Beds are very comfortable and the private parking is a bonus. Honestly, this was a great vacation stop for us. We were able to relax and enjoy the area because the place was great for us and the host was so kind and friendly. Food in the area is fresh and delicious. We have enjoyed it so much that we rented another place close by, only because this place was booked, and we now know what a great deal we had here. Enjoy your stay.

We came here as four friends and used the apartment as a base to travel around the west coast. The apartment was amazing and it was in walking distance of restaurants which made evenings and breakfasts ideal. There’s a cafe called Gran Cafe Solaire which we recommend for granita and in the evening a seafood placed called La Cambusa del Capitano! The host had lots of great suggestions and was very amenable. It’s perfectly positioned for sunrises if you’re an early bird and some beautiful light on the terrace. The only thing to keep in mind if you’re coming by car is to not have too big a car! There’s off road secure parking and we rented a C3 Citroen Aircross. We are confident drivers but getting the car in and out required a bit of manoeuvring so wouldn’t recommend parking inside if your car is bigger than ours.

Casa Reale in Aci Trezza is the perfect place for a private and relaxing stay with a spacious terrace overlooking the sea! The host, Mr. Puglisi, is a charming and generous gentleman that will make those extra arrangements for you to feel welcome in his home. The apartment fulfilled our expectations and provided a good base to explore east Sicily by car. We would be happy to stay there again!
