Description
No other house in Salina is located so close to the sea as Casa Arturo. The terrace offers a stunning view of the sea, the beach and the faraglioni - the splendid volcanic rocks of the bay Punta Scario. A path leads directly to the beach. Salina is the greenest and the most fertile of the Aeolian Islands and famous for its capers and the sweet Malvasia wine. The island of Salina is perhaps the most beautiful of the seven Aeolian Islands and offers restaurants, beaches, villages and authentic island life. Casa Arturo is close to the charming town of Malfa and distances 7 km to Rinella and Santa Marina and 4 km of the beach of Pollara made famous by the film "Il Postino". The walks to the old craters Mount Fossa delle Felci and Mount Porri are stunning. Salina is a perfect base for exploring the other Aeolian Islands, because of its central position in the archipelago.
The house consists of 2 floors (tot. 90 m2) and has two entrances. The ground floor consists of a living room with a dining table and a double bed, bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet, and a small kitchen. An internal stairway leads to the first floor. The floor consists of two bedrooms with a low ceiling (between 1.85-2.20 meters). Both bedrooms have sea view. Note that the access to the second bedroom is via the first bedroom. The panoramic terrace has a set of table and chairs and a shaded cover.
