A rural road brings you to this recently renovated farmhouse, which is surrounded by the bright green of the wild Sicilian vegetation, including lemon trees and eucalyptus trees. The country house is situated on a volcanic cliff between Acireale and Praiola, and has a sweeping view over the sea, the beach and the coast with Taormina on the horizon. A private path leads directly to the beach that distances only 50 m. At the end of the beach is a camping and close to the recently renovated country house are some other houses.

The farmhouse is separated in two independent apartments. At intoSicily.com you can find also the other apartment "Casa Limone". Both apartments have there own terrace with privacy. Casa Mandarino consists of a spacious kitchen with a dining table, a bathroom with shower, bidet and toilet, a double room, a living room with a bunk bed and a sofa bed. Both rooms give access to one of the two terraces, with table, seating, deckchairs and barbeque. Indoor and outdoor living combine seamlessly due to the bright rooms and their communication with the terraces.

In the village Santa Tecla, a few kilometres from Praiola, is the renown, but quiet cheap, fish restaurant “Da Lorenzo”. 2 km from the house is a big supermarket. Also nearby is Acireale, a baroque town, with several shops and squares. Taormina and Catania distance 25 km.
