Description
A rural road brings you to this whitewashed house, which is sharply contrasted by the bright green of the wild Sicilian vegetation. The landscape surrounding the accommodation is characterised by antique lava flows and thousands of prickly pear cacti, called ficodindia. The pool is in use from the 6th March to 7 November.
The property consists of a spacious kitchen, two bathrooms and an enormous living-room (about 80sq. metres), which, thanks to two mezzanines, functions also as a bedroom. This system therefore offers three double bed spaces in the same room.
Due to the presence of two large fireplaces, the accommodation lends itself for use in both autumn and winter. Many people are unaware that Etna is a popular skiing resort in the winter months. On some glorious days in winter, its even possible to ski the frozen slopes in the morning enjoying a wonderful panoramic view of the Mediterranean, and then go and sunbathe on the beaches below the same afternoon!
